Asghar Farhadi to attend Toronto filmfest as guest

Iran veteran director Asghar Farhadi and the cast of his Cannes opener film, ‘Everybody Knows’, have been invited to attend Toronto Int’l Film festival as guest.

According to a media report, a week left to the inauguration ceremony of Toronto Int’l Film festival, the administrators of the event released the list of guests for the event.

The list also contains the name of Iran veteran director Asghar Farhadi and the cast of his successful film ‘Everybody Knows’. The flick represents Spain at the 43rd edition of Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.

According to the festival announcement, 773 guests are to attend the event. Remarkable filmmakers, thespians, and artists have been invited to the Toronto film event too.  

Toronto International Film Festival is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world, attracting over 480,000 people annually. Since its founding in 1976, TIFF has grown to become a year-round destination for film culture operating .

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for September 6-16, in Toronto, Canada.
